Can ANYONE register to use E-Metals?
If you do not have an existing EMJ customer account, you can still register and go through the account process or we can set you up to a Generic account that will allow you to search for items and check global inventory.

How long does it take for my registration to be activated?
Usually, you will be activated within 48 hours, but it could take longer if you do not have an existing account. You will get an account activation e-mail when the process has been completed.

Who will handle my E-Metals orders?
When you register, your account information is sent to the branch responsible for your area based on your zip code. If you would like to know where the nearest branch is, please click on Contact in our main menu and select Sales Locations and input your company zip code.

If I register for online ordering, do I have to do all my ordering on E-Metals?
No, E-Metals is available for your convenience. We have many ways your company can place orders, and you are not restricted just because you are a registered user.

Can I check my order status online even if I didn't place my order on E-Metals?
Yes you can! You can search by our quote or EMJ order number, or you can search by your Purchase Order Number, Part Number, or up to a 60 day date range.

What documents are available for viewing online?
Currently, we offer test reports, Mill Test Reports and proof of delivery. If you need help locating these, click here for instructions.
